Multiple Certificates Pro for LearnDash allows anyone to verify the authenticity of an issued certificate using a unique Certificate ID or by scanning a QR code printed on the certificate. Admins can customize the following options,
1. Unique ID Prefix: Each certificate is assigned a unique certificate ID used for verification. You can configure the prefix under Unique ID Prefix.
- Enter 2–5 letters only.
- Only letters from A–Z are allowed.
- Leave the field blank and save to automatically generate a prefix from your Site Title.
2. Verification Page: On activation, the plugin automatically creates a page titled Verify the certificate – [Your Site Name]
This page includes the shortcode: [mcsld_certificate_verifier]
To select or change the verification page:
- Go to LearnDash → Settings → Multiple Certificates for LearnDash.
- Open the Certificate Verification & Sharing tab.
- Under Verification Page, select the page used for certificate verification.
- Click Save settings.
- Use View Page to preview the verification page.
Note: Certificate QR codes link to this verification page. If you change the verification page later, QR codes already printed on existing certificates will still open the previous page URL, not the newly selected one. The verification page must include the following shortcode: [mcsld_certificate_verifier]
3. Verification Page Template: Under Verification Page Template, choose how the verified certificate details should be displayed.
Available Templates
- Template 01 – Landscape
Displays a horizontal layout with a certificate preview. - Template 02 – Portrait
Displays a vertical layout with learner and course details.
Click Preview Template next to the setting to view a sample layout before saving.
4. Verification Page Social Meta: When someone shares a certificate verification link on platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, or similar platforms, you can control the preview content.
Enable Verification Page Social Meta, then optionally customize the following fields:
- Meta Title
- Meta Description
- Meta Image
Note: Changes to social meta content may take 24–72 hours to reflect on social platforms.
5. Social Sharing on Verified Certificates: You can enable or disable social sharing buttons on the verification result screen for each certificate type.
